Dany
This is a vintage, very loud, 400 watt, solid state bass amp head I bought off eBay last year. It sounds very similar to comparable Sunn and Acoustic bass heads from the early-mid 70s. All channels of the amp work, including the “Harmonics†(read: distortion) channel, but some of the knobs can produce hissing sounds if not dialed in right. I’m not sure if the pots just need contact spray (cheap fix), or if it might be some circuits going bad. Cosmetically, the tolex could use a good scrubbing and the metal corners are a little rusty, but it still looks mean overall. The back of the head says it is 2 ohms, but since it’s solid state, you don’t need to worry about using a cab or cabs that are exactly two ohms. I just means you won’t be harnessing the full 400 watts.
