Nutube se trata de una auténtica válvula dual de operación triodo, provista de ánodo, cátodo, rejillas de control/ supresión, pantalla y filamento, aunque reducida a una mínima expresión física. provee el mismo sonido, sensaciones y matices que las válvulas tradicionales en un diseño integrado de válvula dual termoiónica en un chip.
