I'm writing this email because I have a question about the DCR of my pickups. I didn't install them yet. I saw in the website that for the HDN model, the specs are 9.6 K for the neck pickup and 16.9 K for the bridge pickup. I'm checking that in my pickups, and I get the right number for the N but not the same for the B. I get around 3 on each coil, and around 6 K for both in series. Can you tell me if something is going wrong? And I would like to ask something else. I don't have the screws for the pickups, I tried some screws, from an Epiphone and from an old Indonesian strat, but the holes for the screws in the Entwistle HDN are smaller. Where can I get those screws? Thank you a lot for your time, and contratulations for your work and achievements! By the way, is there some place in Spain where I can try your guitars? Sorry for my bad English, I'm not a fluent English speaker. Darío. La respuesta del dueño: Hi Dario, You have your hands on a very old "experimental" HDN that measured 6k, how on earth did you get one of these? The idea was to make a very high output pickup, that had a lot "highs" it works very well, but it was hard to sell the idea as most guitarists had it in their heads that 6k would not work for them, so we changed it to 16.9k. But you certainly have a rare item! Partitura in Malaga have my guitars ask for Tony Triano. The screws are standard with Gibson and Duncan. All the best Estoy deseando conseguir los dichosos tornillos para probar estas pastillas! Quote
